Authenticated command execution via IPv6 route parameters
Published May 5, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
OS command injection in Ruijie Networks RG-UAC 20240428 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through its web interface. The /view/IPV6/ipv6StaticRoute/static_route_add_ipv6.php handler incorporates text_prefixlen, text_gateway, or devname into an operating-system command without neutralizing shell metacharacters. Administrative privileges are required, and successful exploitation runs commands with the web service's permissions, enabling appliance data access, modification, or service interruption.
