Unauthenticated command execution via crafted POST requests

Published Sep 24, 2024 · Updated Sep 25, 2024

Command injection in Dover Fueling Solutions ProGauge MagLink LX consoles allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via crafted POST requests. The Console IP sub-menu incorporates attacker-controlled POST data into command processing without adequately neutralizing special elements; the public advisory does not identify the parameter or handler. No authentication or user interaction is required, and affected firmware includes MagLink LX 3.4.2.2.6 and earlier and MagLink LX4 4.17.9e and earlier.
