Kernel crash via absent active bonding slave

NULL-pointer dereference in Linux kernel 5.9 and later allows local users to crash the system through bonding IPsec offload traffic. In bond_ipsec_offload_ok, the bonding driver reads curr_active_slave and dereferences its dev member without first checking whether an active slave exists. A bond using IPsec hardware offload with no active slave must be reached; the bounded consequence is a kernel crash and service interruption.
