Kernel memory disclosure via MIDI buffer race

Race condition in the ALSA Line 6 MIDI driver in Linux 2.6.30 and later allows local users to read stale kernel heap data. Concurrent URB completion and rawmidi paths update the line6 midibuf read, write, and full state without shared locking, allowing unwritten slab bytes to reach snd_rawmidi_receive(). A Line 6 USB device and local rawmidi access are required; the demonstrated consequence is kernel-memory disclosure to user space.
