Kernel crash via missing RT5033 client data

Null pointer dereference in Linux's RT5033 battery driver in 6.9 through 6.10.4 and 6.11-rc1 through 6.11-rc2 allows local users to crash the kernel. The probe path registers the power supply without restoring the I2C client data pointer, while status handling retrieves and dereferences that unset pointer. Reaching the fault requires an RT5033 battery device and local access to its power-supply status path; the resulting kernel oops interrupts the host.
