Authenticated PHP code execution via IP setting
Published Aug 30, 2024 · Updated Jul 5, 2026
Command injection in SeaCMS 13.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary PHP code through the admin IP settings. When action=set, admin_ip.php concatenates the unfiltered v and ip POST values into PHP source and overwrites data/admin/ip.php, which the application later executes. Administrative access is required; successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied PHP in the web application's server context, enabling data access, modification, and service interruption.
