CVE-2024-44905Public exploitNetwork attack vector

SQL injection via negative-number comment creation

Published Jun 12, 2025 · Updated Jun 17, 2025

SQL injection in go-pg pg 10.13.0 allows remote attackers to read PostgreSQL data through crafted query parameters. The numeric value appenders concatenate a negative number after a query's minus sign without spacing, forming a double-dash comment that lets a later multiline string alter the SQL syntax. Exploitation requires simple query mode, a prepared statement with the vulnerable parameter pattern, attacker influence over both values, and user interaction; the published assessment limits impact to confidentiality.
