Contributor-level stored XSS via unsanitized title parameter
Published May 10, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored DOM-based XSS in Elegant Themes Divi, Extra, and Divi Builder 4.25.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts. The builder stores the title parameter without sufficient sanitization and later inserts the value into the page DOM without adequate output escaping. Contributor-level access is sufficient to plant the payload, which executes in a visitor's browser when the affected page is opened.
