Contributor-level stored XSS via unescaped inline_list
Published Jun 7, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in WP Royal's Royal Addons for Elementor 1.3.976 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via inline_list. The make_radio_checkbox_field method concatenates the inline_list item directly into an HTML class attribute without attribute escaping. Contributor-level access is sufficient to store the value, and the resulting script executes in a visitor's browser whenever the injected page is viewed.
