Published May 23, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Awesome Contact Form7 for Elementor 2.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via widget attributes. The AEP Contact Form 7 widget renders user-supplied attributes without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping, causing stored payloads to execute when an injected page loads. Contributor-level access is required, and execution occurs only when a user accesses the injected page.
