Published Jul 29, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Stored XSS in Online Optimisation Email Encoder before 2.2.2 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts in another user's browser. The plugin stores WP_Email_Encoder_Bundle_options[protection_text] and writes it into an admin-page attribute without output escaping. Administrator access is required, and exposure is limited to multisite installations or sites with unfiltered_html disabled.
