Browser code execution via reflected tag parameter
Published Aug 29, 2024 · Updated Jul 5, 2026
Reflected XSS in Vtiger CRM 7.4.0 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in a user's browser through a crafted URL. The index page places the attacker-controlled tag parameter into its HTML response without the neutralization needed to prevent script interpretation. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted link; the resulting script runs in the Vtiger origin and can act with that browser session's access.
