Session hijacking via stored report-template label script
Published Jan 13, 2025 · Updated Jan 14, 2025
Stored XSS in BigID PrivacyPortal 179 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in another user's browser via report labels. The report-template label parameter accepts and stores script-bearing values under an insufficient input pattern, then renders them to other users. An authenticated attacker must save a crafted template and induce another user to view it, enabling session theft or actions with the victim's privileges.
