Unauthenticated server information disclosure via exposed SnoopServlet
Published Aug 28, 2024 · Updated Nov 15, 2024
Incorrect access control in Shenzhou News Union Enterprise Management System 5.0 through 18.8 allows remote attackers to read sensitive server data. The /servlet/SnoopServlet endpoint serves sensitive server information without enforcing access control on the requesting client. Network reachability to the servlet is sufficient, and the disclosed behavior is bounded to reading sensitive server information.
