CVE-2024-44724Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Admin-level PHP execution via configuration injection

Published Sep 9, 2024 · Updated Sep 9, 2024

PHP code injection in AutoCMS 5.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary PHP code through the site-add interface. The /admin/site_add.php handler embeds the txtsite_url value in a generated PHP configuration file without neutralizing PHP syntax. An administrator session cookie is required, and injected code runs when the generated configuration file is requested, enabling control of the web server process.
