Unauthenticated server-side requests via unrestricted URL parameter
Published Sep 9, 2024 · Updated Sep 9, 2024
Server-side request forgery in SeaCMS 13.1 allows remote attackers to make the server contact attacker-chosen hosts through the web. The admin_reslib.php endpoint accepts a url query value and uses it as the destination of a server-side request without restricting the host. CISA assesses that exploitation requires no privileges or user interaction; reachable services can receive requests from the SeaCMS host.
