Arbitrary file placement via path traversal
Published Dec 15, 2025 · Updated Dec 15, 2025
Path traversal in FNT Command before 13.4.1 allows remote authenticated users to upload files to arbitrary server locations. The upload handler insufficiently validates attacker-controlled file names and paths, allowing traversal outside its intended upload directory. A valid account is required; placed files can overwrite security-relevant resources and enable code execution when deployment settings process them.
