Memory corruption via oversized IPTV VLAN input
Published Aug 26, 2024 · Updated Aug 26, 2024
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda AX1806 Firmware 1.0.0.1 allows attackers to corrupt memory via crafted adv.iptv.stballvlans input. An oversized adv.iptv.stballvlans value overruns a stack buffer in setIptvInfo and overwrites adjacent process memory. Public records disagree on whether exploitation is network-based and unauthenticated or local and low-privileged, and they do not establish code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
