Code execution via unneutralized news title parameter
Published Sep 18, 2024 · Updated Sep 18, 2024
SQL injection in ToDesk 1.1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code through the public todesk.com news endpoint. The news.html handler processes the title query parameter as SQL input; a crafted expression invoking SLEEP(10) creates a time-based oracle. No authentication is required, and the record reports code execution, although public evidence demonstrates only blind SQL evaluation.
