Unauthenticated database access via concatenated login username
Published Sep 11, 2024 · Updated Sep 11, 2024
SQL injection in Evilnapsis Inventio Lite 4 and earlier allows remote attackers to read or alter database data through the login form. The processlogin handler concatenates the POST username value twice into an email-or-username SELECT query and executes it without parameterization. No account is required; crafted SQL can bypass authentication, extract stored credentials, and modify or delete data available to the application database account.
