Stored XSS via unescaped video shortcode attributes
Published Jun 7, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Extend Themes Colibri Page Builder 1.0.276 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via a shortcode. The colibri_video_player shortcode renders user-supplied attributes without sufficient sanitization or output escaping, persisting attacker-controlled markup in a page. Contributor-level access is required, and the injected script executes in a visitor's browser whenever the affected page is opened.
