Unauthenticated code execution via feed file inclusion
Published May 9, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Local file inclusion in RavanH XML Sitemap & Google News 5.4.8 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute uploaded PHP files. The plugin uses the untrusted feed parameter to select a PHP include without restricting the value to intended sitemap templates. Exploitation requires a suitable local file, such as an uploaded file containing PHP code, and runs that code with the WordPress server's privileges.
