Contributor-level stored XSS via unescaped widget attributes
Published May 14, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Xpro Addons for Elementor 1.4.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through widget attributes. Multiple widget renderers, including Custom Field, Contact Form, Post Grid, Course Grid, and Woo Product Grid, accept user-supplied attributes without sufficient sanitization and emit them without output escaping. Contributor-level access is required; the stored script executes in a visitor's browser whenever the crafted page is viewed, allowing page content or session-accessible data to be read or changed.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
