Unauthenticated code execution via unrestricted file path
Published Aug 19, 2025 · Updated Dec 3, 2025
Path traversal in AllSky 2023.05.01 through 2024.12.06_06 allows remote attackers to execute code by creating a webshell. The /includes/save_file.php handler derives a filesystem destination from the POST path value and passes that path with attacker-controlled content to updateFile without confining the destination to an approved directory. No authentication or user interaction is required, and executable PHP content can run with the web server's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
