Unauthenticated data extraction via unescaped term_id query
Published May 10, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
SQL injection in ThimPress LearnPress 4.2.6.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to extract database data through the term_id parameter. The course database routine incorporates term_id into an existing SQL query without sufficient escaping or parameter preparation, enabling time-based query injection. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the demonstrated consequence is database information disclosure.
