Stored XSS via unescaped photo crop class
Published May 10, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Beaver Builder Page Builder 2.8.1.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through photo crop values. The photo widget renderer inserts the crop setting into an HTML class attribute without attribute escaping, allowing crafted markup to escape the class value. Contributor access or higher is required to save the payload, which executes in a visitor's browser whenever the affected page is viewed.
