Cleartext transmission in Passwords in Apple iOS and iPadOS before 18.2 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to leak sensitive information. The app sent password-reset links and site-icon requests over HTTP before following HTTPS redirects, exposing the initial request to interception and redirection. An attacker controlling the device's network path can redirect the request to a phishing page; credential disclosure still requires user interaction.
