A memory-handling flaw in Apple macOS allows local users to crash the system or corrupt kernel memory through an IOGPUFamily app request. Apple has not published the affected IOGPUFamily function, request type, or incorrect memory operation beyond citing improved memory handling. Reachability requires local app execution; successful triggering can terminate the whole system, while kernel-memory corruption is the only further impact Apple identifies.
