System termination via malformed video parsing

Stack buffer overflow in Apple iTunes for Windows before 12.13.3 allows attackers to cause system termination through video parsing. The Video Playback parser inadequately validates crafted video input, allowing that input to overrun a stack buffer; Apple has not disclosed the affected codec, function, or field. The file must be opened or otherwise parsed by a local user, and the documented consequence is an availability-only crash rather than data access or code execution.
