Incorrect default permissions in Apple macOS before Sonoma 14.7 and Sequoia 15 allow local users to read protected App Sandbox files. The AppSandbox component applies insufficient restrictions to protected files inside an application sandbox container; Apple has not published the affected permission check or code path. Execution of an app under a local user account is required, and the reported consequence is limited to disclosure of files that the sandbox should deny.
