Reflected XSS via insufficient input encoding
Published Sep 10, 2024 · Updated Sep 10, 2024
Reflected XSS in SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Portal 7.50 allows remote attackers to read and manipulate browser content via a crafted URL. The affected portal insufficiently encodes user-controlled input before returning it in a web response, permitting browser interpretation as active content. Exploitation requires an unauthenticated attacker to induce a user to follow the URL before it expires, and the resulting script runs in that user's portal context.
