Privilege escalation via management console DLL hijacking
Published Sep 10, 2024 · Updated Jun 12, 2025
DLL hijacking in Ivanti Workspace Control before 10.19.0.0 allows local users to execute arbitrary code with elevated privileges. The management console resolves a DLL through an uncontrolled search path, allowing an attacker-supplied library to load. An authenticated local account and execution of the management console are required; successful exploitation crosses a privilege boundary and runs attacker code.
