Privilege escalation via management-console DLL hijacking
Published Sep 10, 2024 · Updated Jun 12, 2025
DLL hijacking in Ivanti Workspace Control before 10.19.0.0 allows local users with authenticated access to escalate privileges. The management console loads a library through an untrusted search path, but Ivanti has not published the executable, library name, or search order involved. Exploitation requires a local low-privileged session and can execute code with the management console's higher privileges.
