A null-pointer dereference in the modem component of Google Android allows remote attackers to crash the modem through malformed input. The public records identify the modem as the locus but do not disclose the parsing path or malformed input that produces the null pointer. No privileges or user interaction are required, and successful exploitation interrupts modem service without reported data disclosure or code execution.
