Session theft via reflected script injection
Published Oct 14, 2025 · Updated Oct 14, 2025
Reflected XSS in Apache Geode web-api before 1.15.2 allows remote attackers to run script in a logged-in user's browser. Apache has not published the affected REST endpoint or the input-to-response encoding failure that reflects the crafted link's content. Exploitation requires a logged-in user to follow the link; script execution in the returned page can expose session data and enable account takeover.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
