Unauthenticated local PHP file inclusion via path traversal
Published Oct 5, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Path traversal in Instant Chat Floating Button for WordPress Websites 1.0.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to include local PHP files. The CNA record and its advisory reference do not identify the request parameter, PHP include call, or path-validation failure that permits traversal. No account is required, but the CNA rates exploitation as requiring user interaction; successful inclusion can disclose server data or execute PHP already present or uploaded on the host.
