Unauthenticated local file inclusion via path traversal
Published Oct 5, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Path traversal in Mark Steadman Podiant 1.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to include local PHP files through crafted input. The CNA and sole advisory do not disclose the affected endpoint, parameter, file, or PHP inclusion operation that accepts the path. Exploitation is unauthenticated but requires a privileged user action; included local files expose their output, with further impact depending on server configuration.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
