Stored XSS via unsanitized GridBlock HTML
Published May 16, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in BoldGrid Post and Page Builder 1.26.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through GridBlock content. The Boldgrid_Editor_Ajax GridBlock flow accepted HTML without the sanitize_gridblock_html filtering added by the patch. Contributor-level access is sufficient, and the stored script executes when a visitor opens the injected page.
