Editor-level file disclosure via path traversal

Published Aug 29, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

Path traversal in WPMart Animated Number Counters 1.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to include and read local PHP files. Published sources do not identify the affected request parameter or code path; they state that insufficient pathname restriction permits PHP local file inclusion. Editor-level access is required, and the documented consequence is disclosure of local file contents rendered in the server response.
