Published May 23, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Path traversal in the CAS WordPress theme 1.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read arbitrary server files without authentication. The public download.php endpoint uses its user-controlled path parameter for file-download handling without constraining the resolved path. Any network client that can reach the theme endpoint can retrieve files readable by the web server process.
