Kernel crash via inconsistent virtio header validation

Denial of service in the Linux kernel allows local users to crash affected systems by sending crafted packets through a packet socket. In virtio_net_hdr_to_skb(), missing checks leave segmented buffers non-linear and fail to reject inconsistent gso_size and remainder relationships before checksum handling. Low-privileged local access is required, and successful exploitation interrupts the host by crashing its kernel.
