Authenticated stored XSS via unescaped tooltip attributes
Published May 31, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Premium Addons for Elementor 4.10.31 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject web scripts. The Global Tooltip module accepts user-supplied widget attributes without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping, allowing stored content to reach page rendering as executable script. Contributor-level access is required, and the injected script executes in the browser whenever a user visits an affected page.
