Current-user arbitrary code execution
Published Sep 13, 2024 · Updated Sep 13, 2024
Use-after-free in Adobe Illustrator 28.6, 27.9.5 and earlier allows attackers to execute arbitrary code by opening a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected parser, object type, or operation that accesses the freed object while processing the crafted file. Exploitation requires a victim to open the file, and successful code execution runs with the current user's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
