Browser code execution via DOM script injection
Published Dec 10, 2024 · Updated Dec 11, 2024
DOM-based XSS in Adobe Experience Manager 6.5.21 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a victim's browser. Client-side page rendering incorporates attacker-controlled URL or form input into a DOM element without adequate neutralization, causing injected script to run. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and a victim to visit a crafted link or submit data through a compromised form, exposing browser-session data and actions.
