Browser script execution via unsanitized DOM input
Published Dec 10, 2024 · Updated Dec 11, 2024
DOM-based XSS in Adobe Experience Manager 6.5.21 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run script in a victim's browser. User-controllable URL or page input reaches the rendered DOM without sufficient sanitization, allowing injected script to execute in the page context. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and user interaction with a crafted link or vulnerable page, bounding the impact to the victim's browser session.
