CVE-2024-43704

Parent graphics-buffer disclosure via recycled process handles

Published Nov 18, 2024 · Updated Nov 18, 2024

Information disclosure in Imagination Technologies Graphics DDK 1.13 RTM through 24.2 RTM1 allows local users to read a parent's graphics buffers. PVRSRVAcquireProcessHandleBase reuses psProcessHandleBase when process identifiers are recycled, associating a child with stale parent handle state. A non-privileged local process must issue improper GPU system calls on a Linux or Android device using the affected PowerVR driver.
