Arbitrary script execution via stored banner XSS

Stored XSS in Microchip TimeProvider 4100 firmware 1.0 before 2.4.7 and 2.4.16 before 2.5 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts. The /bannerconfig endpoint stores the txtcustom value without neutralizing executable markup, so browsers run injected JavaScript when rendering the banner page. Access to the separate management port and web application authentication are required to plant the payload, which runs for each user who loads the page until the device is reset.
