Cross-site request forgery in Microchip TimeProvider 4100 firmware 1.0 through 2.4.7 allows remote attackers to force web actions. The management web front end accepts session-authenticated requests without anti-CSRF tokens, allowing a malicious page to submit actions with the victim's ci_session cookie. Exploitation requires passive interaction by a logged-in user and access to the WebGUI on the physically separate management port; timing-service ports are unaffected.
