CVE-2024-43663Network attack vector

Authenticated CGI crashes via undisclosed buffer overflows

Published Jan 9, 2025 · Updated Mar 11, 2025

Stack-based buffer overflows in Iocharger firmware before 24120701 allow remote authenticated users to crash CGI binaries. DIVD identifies several affected CGI binaries but has not disclosed their names, the attacker-controlled fields, or the unsafe memory-copy operation. Authenticated access to the web interface is required; observed crashes return 502 for the request without stopping the web server, while code execution remains unproven and is constrained by ASLR.
