CVE-2024-43658Network attack vector

Authenticated arbitrary-file deletion via path traversal

Published Jan 9, 2025 · Updated Mar 11, 2025

Path traversal in Iocharger firmware for AC models before 25010801 allows remote authenticated users to delete arbitrary charger files. An authenticated web-interface action passes an attacker-controlled path to a file-deletion operation without confining it to the intended directory. Traversal can remove directories or required binaries, corrupting data and interrupting charger operation; the disclosed action and script names remain redacted.
